Robert Jain: The Cheapest Places Where You Could Live

By Jason McDonald

Are you looking to move out and into a new place? If so, you might have considered the idea of moving to a new city or state altogether, which isn't terribly uncommon. After all, there are some places that are more affordable to live in than others, without sacrificing much in the way of quality of life. As a matter of fact, here are a few of the most affordable places to live, as detailed by Robert Jain and other authorities on finance.

Indiana - There are many inexpensive areas to live in the country, and Indiana is a great place for the likes of Bob Jain to begin detailing. While the fact that the cost of living is relatively low, Indiana is bolstered by its number of historic landmarks. Take the Morris-Butler House, for instance, which was built in the late 1800s and has since developed a reputation for being a landmark among visitors and residents. This is just one of many locations to consider moving to.

Alabama - Another affordable location that one can move to is Alabama, which is known for iron and steel products. While this may not seem exciting to most, this state has also been well-known for its culinary contributions. If you've ever visited Alabama, chances are that you couldn't turn away a glass of sweet tea that had just been brewed. This is just one example, but the truth remains that living here won't cost you much.

Nebraska - What about Nebraska, which is often regarded as one of the more inexpensive areas for someone to live? If you decide on this state, you should know that it comes with its own collection of unique traits compared to other locations. For instance, Nebraska is known for producing a slew of crops, including corn, wheat, and sugar beets. While we are on the subject of shoes, you will become familiar with the sandwich-like food called the runza before long. These are just a few reasons to give this state consideration as a place to live, too.

Mississippi - Speaking of inexpensive places to live, Mississippi is one of the most notable names to mention. In fact, for those that decide to settle here, reduced cost will be just one of many benefits. As a matter of fact, if you enjoy food, there are plates like fried catfish and the famous Mississippi mud pie to sink your teeth into. If tourism is more of your style, then maybe you'd like to visit the Hattiesburg or Jackson Zoo. Whatever you may be interested in, there are reasons to give Mississippi your consideration as well.
